Off Sick and Want to Get Back to Work?

Fit for Work is a new service for anybody in the Wakefield area who is off sick from work (or is at risk of having to take sick leave) and would like advice and support to help them get back to or stay in work.

This free service is open to anybody in employment who lives or works in a WF postcode.

Users of the service are assigned an individual Case Worker who will provide confidential one-to-one holistic support and advice for health issues and other related matters, including debt, housing and employment.

You will be supported to prepare a personalised goal plan which is regularly reviewed and amended according to your needs.  The goal plan takes into account your short & long term goals, helping you to get back to full strength.

On your return to work, your Case Worker can help to communicate your needs to your GP or your employer, making your return to work less daunting and as simple as possible.

The Fit for Work Service also offers support to employers who would like advice on how to accommodate employees with health-related issues.

If you would like more information, or if you would like to book a confidential one-to-one session with a Fit for Work Case Worker, please call:
0800 023 4665    or e-mail   info@a4efitforwork.co.uk
